The four Sapling villagers, still in their maid outfits, stood in utter disbelief in front of Udon, who was now lying on the ground unconscious, bested by the Swablu that faced her.
"I can't believe you took her out like it was nothing!" the Maractus exclaimed.
"That's because it was nothing. Being with Merlot for so long turned these 'dragons' into pansies," said the Swablu.
"There they are!" they suddenly heard a voice say. The Swablu turned around and saw a Charmander and a Breloom, wheeling a cart filled with eggs.
"We've come to get you out of he- oh, my!" Shroomsworth said as he saw the dragons lying on the floor. "I guess you lot are quite capable of fending for yourselves, it seems."
"Actually, I take full credit," the Swablu said.
"R-right. Where are the other villagers?" Mike asked.
"Back at home," the Lilligant answered.
"The four of us came here to help them escape, and we succeeded, but we got caught in their stead."
"It's good to hear they're safe. That means Merlot didn't plant them in her garden like I thought she would," Mike said with relief.
"That's what you were worried about?" Shroomsworth asked.
"And you? What's your business here?" he proceeded to ask the Swablu.
"Same as them. Came here to save the Pokémon from my village. They wimped out. I didn't care for their silly excuses. And that's the reason all of them are unconscious. Except for the ones you guys took out," she answered.
"My… How indignant," Shroomsworth commented. Then they all heard a loud boom.
"What was that?" the Maractus asked.
"It must Psy and the others! They're fighting Merlot in the dining room," Mike responded. "We should go help them out!"
"But we can't just leave them here, let alone the eggs!" Shroomsworth remarked.
"It's okay!" the Bellosom assured them.
"We know our way out. And we can take the eggs with us," the Roserade added.
"So go help your friends," the Maractus ordered. Mike and Shroomsworth both nodded.
"We'll wait for you outside in the back of the castle," Lilligant said as the two dashed off. The Swablu began flapping her cotton-like wings and ascended a bit.
"I'll escort you girls out, in case I missed a few dragons," she said.
"It's quite apreciated," Lilligant said.
"Don't mention it. It's better than saving no one."
As Mike and Shroomsworth rushed down flights of stairs, Shroomsworth suddenly heard a voice speaking to his thoughts.
"Hey, Cirrus here. We're kind of in a bind, a psychic one, and we could really use some help right about now. Have you found the villagers yet?"
"They've been found. Hold on! We're on our way now!" Shroomsworth answered out loud.
"Who are you talking to?" Mike asked.
"It's Cirrus. She spoke to me with her mind's eye. Let's hurry, Micheal! Double time and all that rot!" Shroomsworth exclaimed.
"Right! And it's Mike!"

the Traveller
It was crowded in the tavern. Very crowded, even. It was one of those old ones that looks like it's been well lived in on both the out and inside. Faint grooves worn into the floor between tables as patrons shuffle their way through the crowd on the busiest evenings of the week. That being every day of the week. Existence in this bleak town a half day ride away from any other settlement or city pretty much required it.
This particular tavern was therefore the only place to gather that wasn't the temple and definitely the only place one could get drunk without anyone judging too harshly. All patrons of this place knew that enjoying the

Once in an era ship sailed beyond
They sank below the eternal blue
And their mark would be left
As the eternal blue grew so did the mark
Once in a lifetime story are told
Their story was what left of them
The eternal touch they left for us
Untold truth remembered for Tomorrow
Remembered mistake kept for tomorrow
Keeping away the waiting beast
If the beast awake soon death follow
Keeping keys locked and answers be lost

fine then, just leave me alone
let me rot in this "shithole" existence
you don't like it?
well it's none of your business
try to turn me around
put me on "the right path"?
it won't work
you haven't experienced such wrath
and then experienced the everlasting calm
but you'll never understand
all you know is the bad
all you remember is sad
i'm sorry you felt the need to cut me off
it's a real shame
and you weren't even involved
as if our friendship was a game
well i miss your friendship
you hurt me just as badly
as the one you criticize
still, i would renew our bond, gladly
if you weren't this way or that
stubborn, hard headed
just open you
