With a loud gasp, Psy quickly opened his eyes, and began looking around, seeing nothing but darkness.

"Morfius? Morfius, where are you?" he shouted, shaping his hand around his mouth to amplify the sound. Then he noticed his hand. Looking at it, he saw not a furry blue paw, but 5 long pink fingers. Human fingers. He then proceeded to look at his other arm, then his entire body, seeing the purple attire he remembered wearing last before becoming a Pokémon. He passed his hand over his head and felt his bushy brown hair.

"I'm... I'm human again?"

Suddenly a voice called out to him. He startled and quickly spun around to see who it was. In front of him stood three figures. The first was a Gardevoir. The second, a woman with flowing blond hair, green eyes, wearing a green dress and a necklace. from the necklace, hung a blue gem shaped like a teardrop. The third was a young girl, presumably in her early teens, also with long blond hair and green eyes, wearing a purple witch hat and a purple dress, along with a necklace made of three red gems, each with an elliptic shape, her attire resembling the appearance of a Mismagius. Psy recognized them immediately.

"Kirleen? Mom? Priscilla?" The three smiled. Psy ran towards his mother, who stood in the middle, and embraced her. What followed was an overflow of nostalgia, reliving all of experiences, from the day he left Cherrygrove City. Tears began to flow.

"I... I missed you guys," Psy said through his soft sobs.

"Psy, it is good to see that you are well," said Kirleen.

Psy wiped the tears off of his face. "It's good to see you guys too," he said.

"What's the other world like?" his little sister asked excitingly.

"Well, it's actually pretty cool. There are all these different kinds of Pokémon," Psy explained. "Speaking of which, you're looking pretty human for a Mismagius,"

Priscilla tried to keep a straight face, but couldn't hold it for long. She became enveloped by a purple cloud of smoke. When it disappeared, what was left was an actualy Mismagius.

"Sorry! I just wanted to see what it would look like," she explained. "Did I look cute?"

"Super cute," Psy replied. Priscilla, now a Mismagius, floated towards Psy and began kissing him on his cheek.

"Big brother is the best!" she said.

"Okay, okay! That's enough!" Psy exclaimed, trying to push Priscilla away. He looked at his mother and instead of a look of contentedness, he instead saw a look of concern.

"Are you sure you're okay, sweetie?" she asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine, mom," he replied. "Well, thanks to Morfius. If he hadn't jumped in after me into that warp hole, who knows what would've happened."

His mother placed her hands on his cheeks, and stared him square in the eye.

"Are you happy?" she asked.

The question began to echo in his head over and over. As his mom let go, he looked down and thought about it for a while.

"In general, you mean? I... I don't know. I never really thought about it," he answered. He looked up, and saw that the three were no longer there.

"Pokémon are the beacons of love and friendship," he heard his mother say behind him. he turned around, but did not see his mother, nor Kirleen and Priscilla, but instead a shiny Lilligant, wearing a purple bow with white polka dots on her head.

"That's the mantra you've always lived by, isn't it, Psy?" his mother said. He turned around again and saw his mother and Priscilla, but no Kirleen.

"Pay close attention to what they're saying. It might be an important clue," he heard someone say next to him. He looked to his left and saw someone who resembled him, wearing a white t-shirt and a vest, cargo pants, shoes and a bandanna with long ends, all of which were pink.

"Morfius..." Psy softly uttered.

"Friendship and love. For these to culminate, another element is needed."

Psy looked in front of him again and saw that Kirleen was speaking, his mom and Priscilla no longer there. The Gardevoir pointed forward. Psy turned around and saw Priscilla and his mother standing next to the Lilligant.

"When you understand what that element is, you will be able to get stronger," Kirleen continued. "For the sake of this world, you must."

Psy turned to face Kirleen again.

"Okay. So what is this other elem-" The two standing next to the Lilligant were standing next to Kirleen again. They could be seen slowly moving backwards, despite standing still. "Wait! What about that element?" Psy asked, stretching his arm out.

he tried taking a step but Morfius, who seemingly held the appearance of a human, stopped him.

"Don't."

"But how am I supposed to find out what it is?" Psy asked. Morfius turned around and began walking off, transforming back into his normal self, wearing a purple bandanna.

"They already gave you the clue. Now you just have to figure it out," he said.

"Wait! Don't you leave too!" Psy yelled as he stretched out his hand again. He noticed his arm was blue and furry. He was a Riolu again. Suddenly he felt an embrace from behind. It was the Lilligant. Then Psy's vision slowly became blank.

It's okay...
I'm here.

And so the dream ended.
